BOSTON, MA, December 15, 2020 — The Association of Health Information Outsourcing Services (AHIOS), an organization of the leading health information management (HIM) outsourcing service companies that promote excellence in managing the risk and compliance issues around disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI), announced the appointment of its new president, Zachary Perry, and its new executive committee.
As president of AHIOS, Mr. Perry will lead the association’s initiatives to strengthen, enhance, and raise awareness of the HIM outsourcing industry’s value. The industry must embrace the advancements in health information technology to establish new standards of excellence to ensure patient access to health information, and compliance with existing and recently introduced regulations. Mr. Perry currently serves as the CEO of RRS Medical.
Serving with Mr. Perry on the AHIOS executive committee are:
- Ryan Hallman, VP of AHIOS and Director of Operations at Diversified Medical Records Services
- Stephen Hynes, AHIOS Treasurer and CEO of MRO and also a past President of AHIOS
- Elizabeth McElhiney, AHIOS Secretary and Privacy & Security Officer at ScanSTAT Technologies
- Dick Logan, Emeritus Membership, a founder and past AHIOS President and Executive Director

Mr. Perry spent the first ten years of his career in investment banking with Deutsche Bank, serving as an advisor to multi-national corporations during his tenure that spanned roles in both London, UK, and New York City. After his time in banking, he pursued an entrepreneurial path and formed Claremont Square Capital Partners together with a group of investors to acquire RRS Medical in 2018. Since that time, Mr. Perry has overseen the strategic advancement of the Company as the CEO. Mr. Perry received a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
